Project outlines read as, "Use a basic object as a symbol to share an idea. Over the semester, you will complete several photo shoots of the same object. This object will eventually need to be used as a symbol in conjunction with an article or essay. The images and article will be put together in a 16-page booklet."
I worked throughout the semester to photograph images of my chosen "pet" - grapefruit. During the process, I also chose and essay that I felt represented the pet. In thinking and pondering on this, I ended up choosing an essay on unity. This was done to illustrate the different elements that make up a grapefruit and how each individual element bonds together to create a coheisive and delicous fruit.

I then created a 16 page brochure displaying the pet photographs as well as the essay. These are examples of the pages, and are followed by two examples of the spreads.
